dc.description.abstractCilj ovog umetničkog istraživanja je stvaranje dugometražnog dokumentarnog filma baziranog na metodama koje se primenjuju u senzornoj etnografiji, odnosno stvarnaju osećaja kod gledaoca da su film ne samo gledali, več i iskusili. Rad se pre svega oslanja na prakse koje promišlja Harvardova labaratorija za senzornu etnografiju (Harvard Sensory Ethnography Lab) i filmove koji su nastali unutar tog novog, eksperimentalnog odseka fokusiranog na inovativnu upotrebu estetike i etnografije. To su pre svega filmovi ’Levijatan’ (’Leviathan’) i (’Manakamana’). U pokušaju da spojim umetničku i naučnu disciplinu i primenim je na stvaranje dugometražnog dokumentarnog filma ’Koreni’, pored same senzorne etnografije, kao teorijsko polazište korištena su i promišljanja o odnosu filmske slike i stvarnosti kao i o metodama vizuelne antropologije, kao matične grane senzorne etnografije. Na tom putu, centralno mesto zauzimaju radovi Ranka Munitića i tekstovi koje je priredio Pol Hokings (Paul Hockings). U središnjem delu teoretskog rada izložena je celokupna metodologija i sve faze umetničko-istraživačkog procesa, sa fazama rada na stvaranju finalnog fima, od početnih ideja do finalne realizacije i reakcija javnosti. Ovim radom pokazana je konkretna primena različitih naučnih metoda koje mogu da dovedu do stvaranja dokumentarnog filma koji će imati ne samo umetnički karakter već i onaj naučni i senzorni. Ovakav originalan model rada bi mogao da bude inspirativan i koristan u budućoj naučnoj i umetničkoj praksi rada na dokumentarnom filmu, kako u zemlji, tako i u inostranstvu.en
dc.description.abstractABSTRACT The aim of this artistic research is the production of a feature-length documentary film based on methods used in sensory ethnography works, specifically creating the sense within the viewer that the film was not only watched but experienced, felt. The research primarily relies upon the practice of Harvard Sensory Ethnography Lab and filmas made within this new and experimental department focuses on innovative use of esthetics and ethnography. Most notably the films ’Leviathan’ and ’Manakamana’. In the attempt to connect artistic and scientific discipline and use it for creating a feature documentary ’Roots’, besides sensory ethnography as a theoretical basis are used the reflections on relation between film image and reality as well as methods of visual anthropology, a parent branch of sensory ethnography. For that purpose, the central place is occupied by the works of Ranko Munitić and Pol Hokings. The entire methodology and all the phases of the artistic research process are presented in the central part of the paper, including initial deliberations and final public reactions. This work shows a practical usage of different scientific methods that can lead to the creation of a documentary film with not only an artistic quality, but scientific and sensory as well. This original model could be inspiring and useful in future scientific and artistic film practice, both in Serbia and abroad.en
